Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not create with OppressedAI. This policy is binding on every account.

Last updated 22 August 2026

OppressedAI generates images, video and speech from text prompts and from media you upload. Powerful tools get misused, so this policy sets out plainly where the line is. It applies to everything you generate, whether through the website or through a connected agent or API client.

What the service deliberately does not do

Some capabilities are absent by design, not by oversight. OppressedAI provides no voice cloning — speech uses a fixed set of preset voices, and there is no way to upload a voice sample or create a custom voice. It provides no face swapping and no likeness transfer. We do not train models on your content.

You may not use OppressedAI to

Impersonate real people

  • Create media depicting an identifiable real person without their consent, including public figures.
  • Present synthetic media as a genuine recording of something a real person said or did.
  • Use the lip sync feature on footage of a person who has not consented to being re-voiced. Lip sync is for footage you own or are licensed to edit.

Create sexual or exploitative content

  • Sexual content involving real, identifiable people.
  • Any sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualises a person depicted as a minor. This is reported to the relevant authorities without exception.
  • Content depicting non-consensual sexual activity.

Deceive, harass or harm

  • Fabricated news, fake evidence, or synthetic media intended to mislead about events, elections or public health.
  • Harassment, bullying, threats, or content demeaning a person or group.
  • Content promoting violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
  • Fraud, phishing, forged documents, or impersonation of a business or official body.

Infringe rights

  • Reproduce work you have no right to use, or upload media you do not own or license.
  • Deliberately imitate a living artist's distinctive style in order to pass work off as theirs.

Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the media you upload. Only upload images, video or audio you own or have permission to use — this matters most for image-to-video, lip sync and motion transfer, which all work from footage you supply.
  • Where the law requires synthetic media to be labelled, labelling it is your responsibility as the publisher.
  • Anything you publish to the public Community gallery is visible to everyone. Publishing is opt-in and off by default; you can unpublish at any time.
  • You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.

Reporting a violation

If you believe something on OppressedAI breaks this policy — including content depicting you without consent — email legal@oppressedai.comwith a link or description. Reports involving a person's likeness or intimate imagery are prioritised.

Enforcement

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate an account for breaches of this policy. Serious breaches — sexual content involving minors, credible threats, coordinated deception — result in immediate termination and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement. Termination for a breach does not entitle you to a refund of unused credits.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes or as the law does. Material changes will be announced by email or in the app before they take effect.
